The Department: Supplier Relations
The Role: Associate, Supplier Relations
Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management
- Assist in onboarding new vendors by collecting and verifying necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update vendor records in the procurement system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor vendor performance against established KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs), identifying and escalating issues as needed.
- Support the Head of Procurement in evaluating vendor contracts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Procurement Support
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements for vendor-related needs and support the procurement process.
- Assist in processing purchase orders, invoices, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Help with tracking and managing vendor budgets to align with department and company goals.
- Risk and Compliance
- Conduct initial and periodic due diligence on vendors to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and security requirements.
- Assist in tracking vendor compliance with data security and confidentiality standards, especially regarding cryptocurrency operations.
- Monitor and report on vendor risks, escalating concerns to the Head of Procurement as appropriate.
- Data Management and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain reports on vendor performance, costs, and other key metrics for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to periodic audits and reviews by providing accurate and organized vendor-related data.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or financial services.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace tools.
- Basic understanding of procurement, vendor management, or contract management processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Comfort with a rapidly changing industry and willingness to learn new processes and tools.
- Ability to manage vendor records and documents with precision and care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges or blockchain technology is a plus.
- Experience with procurement or vendor management software (e.g., Malbek, Ironclad, Coupa etc.) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to support team objectives and company goals.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $84,000 - $118,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidateâs compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
In the United States, we have a flexible hybrid work policy for employees who live within 30 miles of our office headquartered in New York City and our office in Seattle. Employees within the New York and Seattle metropolitan areas are expected to work from the designated office twice a week, unless there is a job-specific requirement to be in the office every workday. Employees outside of these areas are considered part of our remote-first workforce. We believe our hybrid approach for those near our NYC and Seattle offices increases productivity through more in-person collaboration where possible.
