Web3 Backend Engineer - Berlin/Porto (m/f/d)

As a Backend Engineer at Finoa, you will work with the team to improve and build new back-end applications and processes, analyzing current codes and industry developments. Furthermore, you will work with the latest blockchain technology, integrating it into our backend, and creating a more seamless experience for users.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality software solutions, have influence in the whole development cycle from architecture design, to implementation, testing, and maintenance.

• Design and deliver new products and services that help move the company forward.

• Write code that your peers praise for their elegance and add value by leveraging current trends in software design, architecture, and technology.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in technology, performance, and security to ensure the highest levels of stability and safety for the customer.

• Working in an agile environment according to DevOps methodology and concepts.

• BS/MS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related subject.

• Experienced in NodeJS (Typescript) and good SQL knowledge

• Broad view on different software architectures, programming technologies, and languages.

• Some experience or interaction with cryptography, major public blockchains, or FinTech

• Experience with DevOps methodology and concepts will be considered a plus!
