Web3 Business Operations Lead

We are on the lookout for a Business Operations Lead. Reporting into our Chief of Staff and Head of Operations, this role will help solve some of our biggest problems as a hyper-growth company as well as execute high-impact, cross-functional projects that will help Magic Eden transform from an early stage start up to the undisputed leader in web3.

To succeed in the role, you’ll need to have a passion for driving change and creating outcomes across the organization by performing robust analyses, exhibiting excellent communication skills both at the executive level as well as at the operational level, and demonstrating best-in-class stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale transformation projects that impact key internal aspects of the company, including operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and other corporate-level initiatives.
• Address high-priority issues that impede company growth, focusing on people manager enablement, performance management, and other leadership-related challenges.
• Dive into the operations of new business units to establish best practices and scale them from the growth stage to a more mature, steady state.
• Enhance the rigor of both commercial and internal projects through thorough analysis, strategic methods, and polished execution.
• Oversee and support the company-wide strategic planning process, ensuring alignment among key stakeholders on strategic priorities and implementation plans.

What you bring:

• 7+ years of experience, with recent experience leading and scaling the strategy & planning function with a technology startup company, preferably with a focus on operational excellence, transformation and leadership enablement
• Experience in leading direct and cross-functional teams on high-impact strategy projects
• Ability to solve complex business problems, build scalable processes, and ability to handle ambiguity
• Ability to establish solid relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills, including fluency with Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools

Bonus points for:

• Prior experience in management consulting strongly preferred
• Experience and deep knowledge with marketplace technology platforms
• Knowledge in SQL and financial modeling would be a plus
• Familiarity with or a keen interest to learn about NFTs and the crypto industry

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. The base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Magic Eden’s equity plan. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
