This is a fully remote position at a company that places remote work first.
As a Client Engagement Equities specialist you will be the first point of contact when our clients need assistance with our equities platform. This is a new venture for Kraken so you’ll get in on the ground floor of an exciting adventure and help leadership steer the ship, grow the team and build the product.
Our equities support team handles inquiries from clients using their in-depth knowledge of the product and brokerages. Anything related to equities trading or investing is in your wheelhouse but you will be trained to handle inquiries for our crypto related products as well.
The team
You’ll report to a specialized team that supports all our trading related products such as Consumer, Kraken Pro, Kraken Derivatives, Kraken Desktop and our API. This team is composed of crypto and trading enthusiasts who leverage their deep product knowledge to assist clients quickly and report client feedback. Team members will also engage with a leadership team who have an extensive professional equities background and other important internal departments covering all aspects of our business.
The opportunity
Answer clients’ equity related questions via email, live chat and possibly phone. While this is your primary directive you will be trained and expected to answer questions pertaining to other Kraken trading related products
Provide testing and feedback for new platform features before they are released to clients.
Maintain professional communications both internally and externally
Assist in the management of our support team - some examples of these responsibilities include QA for other specialists, improving training materials, updating internal and external support documentation
Providing calculation breakdowns for clients questions regarding fees, P/Ls on trades, helping clients understand execution prices etc
Provide product feedback/report bugs to product and/or engineering
Excellent computer literacy and ability to learn and navigate new software using multiple platforms
Skills you should HODL
Fluent in English
Passed the SIE, active FINRA Series 7 and 63 Licenses
Knowledge and experience using at least one equities platform
Experience with both our trading platform and other trading platforms like coinbase, binance, OKEX etc
Knowledge of cryptocurrencies (Technical, philosophical, financial)
Knowledge of trading, charting, understanding of leveraged trading
A dedication to always providing a 6 star client support experience
Fast learner, able to adapt to change - our products are always evolving
Must work North American hours and able to work flexible hours
Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) while utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Nice to haves
Worked in a professional remote environment before
Experience with Google Sheets and Google Script
Experience with our or other similar platforms API
Language ability (in addition to English)
Other data analytic skills/experience
