Ramp is hiring a Web3 Compliance Assurance Associate
Compensation: $90k - $110k estimated

🙌🏼 What you will be doing
We’re looking for a Compliance Assurance Associate to support in the delivery of our global compliance assurance and testing programme. This role will also be involved in horizon scanning for upcoming regulatory changes relevant to the organization and ensuring Ramp’s voice is heard in relevant industry forums and associations. This is a hands-on-role which will work closely with country compliance officers and stakeholders across the business in multiple time zones.
🧩What you will be working on
- Supporting the Compliance Assurance & Testing Manager in enhancing and executing the annual compliance assurance testing plan and Issue Management framework.
- Reviewing and undertaking sample testing and compliance assurance testing on the global financial crime and compliance programme
- Communicating- and providing proactive solutions for - your findings and tracking them to completion
- Working closely with, and supporting, key stakeholders in the Financial Crime Operations, Customer Support, Product, and Technology teams
- Ensuring the plan continually adapts to the company’s growth plans, whilst meeting the fast changing regulatory environment we operate in
- Ensuring all Compliance assurance and external audit findings are reported to the appropriate governance structures in an accurate and timely manner
- Conducting horizon scanning to identify emerging risks, trends, and regulatory changes that could impact the organization.
- Developing and maintaining a network of industry contacts to stay informed about upcoming regulatory changes.
- Being an active member of Ramp’s compliance membership and industry associations
🤟 What you will bring
- 2+ years of experience in the second line of defence (2LOD) Compliance team at a licensed
- Financial institution, or in a consultancy or regulator;
- Knowledge of UK regulation and requirements as they relate to an FCA-registered cryptoassset business;
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex
- information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional
- stakeholders
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English; any additional language abilities are a plus (we operate globally!)
- Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity about fintech and crypto
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
- Willing and able to travel internationally
