Crypto Treasury Manager

As the crypto treasury manager, you will be acting as the subject matter expert on all crypto related financial operations. You will work closely with the finance and operation teams and you will play a key role in building value creating trading strategies.

You will

• Collaborate with the treasury team and serve as a subject matter expert for all cryptocurrency related operations.
• Support in developing robust crypto trading strategies that aligns with Shakepay’s objectives as well as the macroeconomic environment.
• Conduct daily trades and support cash management operations to ensure efficient movement of funds.
• Continuously monitor the company’s liquidity and ensure the proper allocation of capital at all times.
• Collaborate with product teams and act as a subject matter expert on all initiatives impacting the flow of funds.
• Collaborate with external partners and maintain strong relationships with banks and crypto liquidity providers.
• Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to develop financial models supporting treasury projects.

Must have

• Advanced knowledge and experience with crypto
• Solid understanding of the fundamentals of blockchain
• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Political Science or any related program
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to have

• Prior experience at a crypto trading platform
• Proficiency with Fraud, KYC, AML and regulatory requirements in the Canadian Crypto industry
• Experience working with SQL
