Web3 DeFi Trader - Proprietary Trading

A leading algorithmic trading firm is looking for DeFi Algorithmic Traders to join its New York team. This opportunity is open to both strong graduates and experienced candidates from trading, quantitative research, software engineering or DeFi backgrounds.

You will research on-chain protocols, analyze blockchain and market data, and develop data-driven algorithmic trading strategies alongside experienced traders and developers.

Requirements:

• Strong Rust and/or Python skills
• Quantitative and statistical analysis experience
• Knowledge of Linux and Git
• Understanding of blockchain, EVM and smart contracts
• Familiarity with Foundry is beneficial
• Interest in DeFi market structure and algorithmic trading

Commercial trading experience is not essential; relevant academic, personal or open-source projects will be considered. The role is New York-based with some flexibility to work from home.
