Web3 Director NFT & Digital Collectibles

As a Director NFT & Digital Collectibles, you will drive this new revenue stream while creating the best possible experience for fans. Drawing from your previous experience in growing a digital item business, you will develop and manage our commercial strategy for NFTs while aligning with stakeholders and service providers throughout the organization.

You will build a lasting economy across our different verticals and drive your team to deliver excellence. As a marketer with strong commercial experience, you will ensure the program meets or exceeds targets.

The ideal candidate will reside in or near Cologne, Germany. Remote work may be possible for the right candidate, given the candidate is based in or around the CET time zone.

What you’ll do:

• Drive NFT & digital collectibles revenue across the organization
• Maintain your own P&L & provide accurate business forecasting and modeling
• Devise, own & drive ESL’s strategy in the NFT space together with your team with specific focus on pricing, inventory management and market making
• Liaise with and manage suppliers, distribution channel partners and licensors
• Closely collaborate with Product, Game Management, Marketing and Creative teams, providing horizontal leadership on the overall NFT topic
• Develop future use cases for NFTs to drive ESL’s overall business & collaborate with Brand Partnerships, Publisher Relations and Media Rights teams to execute on this
• Drive expansion of NFT offering into new verticals and for additional ESL + partner brands
• Ensure ongoing financial and regulatory compliance of all initiatives together with internal and external legal, accounting, tax, and auditing resources

What you need:

• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in managing digital consumer business with at least 4+ years in a leading commercial role
• Demonstrable experience in growing a digital business to scale
• Experience in the video game industry
• Strong leadership skills

• Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
• Work or personal experience in NFT & digital collectibles a plus!
