About The Role

We are looking for a Front End Engineer to help shape and build user interfaces for Cycles for Business and other products in development built upon the Cycles protocol. These products aim to revolutionize how people and businesses interact with money, clearing, and payments.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for building engaging, user-centric web-based or mobile-based applications, with strong interests in FinTech, digital banking, accounting, or crypto. As a Front End Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and scalable interfaces, directly contributing to the success of these products and the broader Cycles ecosystem.

What your primary responsibilities will be:

• Develop and maintain responsive and performant front-end applications using modern frameworks like React or React Native.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, visually appealing interfaces that provide a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate and ensure smooth functionality across the stack.
• Continuously optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to prototyping and development of new features across multiple products built upon the Cycles protocol.
• Write and maintain comprehensive tests to ensure quality and reliability of codebases.
• Work with designers and product managers to ensure products align with user needs and the Cycles vision.
  
  

What we look for in a successful Front End Engineer:

• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Experience building responsive, mobile-first applications, ideally using React Native and Expo.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Experience using Figma and a passion for design.
• Exposure to FinTech, digital banking, accounting software, or crypto.
• Experience using Web3 toolkits like WalletConnect/Reown, Web3Auth, Capsule, etc.
• A passion for creating intuitive, beautiful, and functional interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environments.
