Telcoin Europe provides cryptocurrency exchange services via our mobile application, servicing customers across the EU and EEA. Our mission is to deliver a seamless and secure platform for cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring that our users can manage their digital assets with ease. We are currently in the process of applying for our license under the Mica licensing regime and are looking to establish a local office in Vilnius. Role Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for establishing and running the day-to-day operations of the company's Vilnius office. The role involves representing the CEO locally and working closely with them to ensure the successful application for the Mica license. Key Responsibilities:
Establish and oversee the operations of the Vilnius office. Represent the CEO locally and ensure the alignment of local operations with the company's overall strategy. Work closely with the CEO to manage the application process for the Mica licensing regime. Develop and implement business plans and strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Manage and mentor local staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee financial performance and ensure the efficient allocation of resources. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. Provide regular reports to the CEO on the progress and performance of the Vilnius office.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry. Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Experience in regulatory compliance and licensing processes. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English and Lithuanian.
