Web3 Head of Advisory Group

NEAR is looking to strengthen our team with a hands-on Head of Advisory Group who can contribute with strong domain expertise excelling in a startup environment.

This is a unique role to support our teams as we embrace our principles of decentralization. We’re building our team to support new teams and entities that are dedicated to growing the NEAR ecosystem. As the Head of Advisory Group at NEAR Foundation, your role is both breadth-first and depth-first. You’ll be essentially taking over as much of that responsibility as you can handle and as fast as you can learn.

This role will be based in Zug, Switzerland but can work remotely.

You will:

• Ensure the development of hyper-growth blockchain companies and projects
• Build, manage, and train a team of 10+ people, including specialists in Finance, Legal, Operations, and Business Consulting
• Interfacing with key clients of projects building on NEAR, Team Leads, and authorities
• Defining consulting playbooks and best practices
• Put in place efficient and scalable processes to take the projects to the next level
• Implement exceptional staffing and recruitment initiatives for projects
• Build structures in several jurisdictions that support the establishment, growth and success of new enterprises
• Manage strategic growth initiatives
• Oversee the promotion and marketing of the Advisory Group

You have:

• Exceptional intelligence and breadth of business knowledge and high EQ
• 5+ years of experience in a consulting company plus 5+ years of experience growing a successful business
• Outstanding business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Stellar attention to detail and process orientation
• Demonstrated passion for the blockchain/crypto space
• Experience in a rapidly scaling startup environment/ thrive amidst rapid change
• MBA and an additional higher education preferred
