Web3 Head of Community

Our community is exploding ad we have over 36,000 devs in our Discord today. We’re looking for someone that can stay on-top of our community and create value for them.

When people think “community” they usually think it’s someone that sits in Discord replying to users or keeping them active by constantly trying to start convos — we don’t give a shit how active you are in Discord.

What we do care about are the creative new initiatives you create that empower our community of web3 devs. For example, some stuff you might work on:

• Work w/ various web3 cos to build out our “perks” page where we offer members of buildspace’s community access to special deals (ex. free access to Alchemy, AWS credits, etc). Bonus if you can build it yourself using no-code tools.
• Find our community’s most active members and promote them. For example, maybe we have a really active user in Mumbai — could you have them run an irl event called “buildspace mumbai” and help them organize it?
• Running a bi-weekly “demo day” type event where users can show off projects their working on to hundreds of users live in Discord. Users can vote on who had the best project and the winner gets a grant of $5,000 from buildspace to continue working on it.
