Community Management Specialist - India
Introduction
Binance is looking for a Community Manager to build and grow a high-energy crypto community in India across both online and offline channels. This role is for someone who knows how to create momentum, drive participation, and make a community feel active every day. From AMAs and webinars to city meetups and hackathons, you will own the end-to-end community experience. You will represent Binance in India, so you should have a strong understanding of our products, services, and the broader crypto industry. You will be the face and voice of Binance’s community locally, helping users stay informed, engaged, and connected.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end community lifecycle: engagement, retention, and growth
- Build and execute online and offline community initiatives such as AMAs, webinars, hackathons, challenges, meetups, and local activations
- Recruit, grow, and engage the Binance Angels community in India
- Create repeatable engagement programs that drive ongoing participation
- Act as the visible and trusted face of the Binance community in India
- Manage community channels such as Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp, and maintain a high-trust, high-quality environment
- Track key community metrics, user behavior, and feedback to improve performance
- Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to turn community insights into better content, campaigns, and user experience
- Lead on-ground event planning and execution end-to-end
- Stay up to date with trends in crypto, blockchain, fintech, and digital culture
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building and growing crypto communities, with clear ownership of outcomes
- Proven experience launching community programs such as ambassador programs, online forums, event series, or other engagement initiatives
- Hands-on experience running both online and offline events from planning to execution
- Experience in driving sponsorships or partnerships for crypto and fintech events
- Strong understanding of crypto, blockchain, and Web3 trends and terminology
- Ability to create energy, drive participation, and build real community engagement
- Strong execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once
- Comfortable working with autonomy, ambiguity, and fast-moving priorities
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence in being the face of the community
- Ability to turn feedback, insights, and data into clear action
- Strong spoken and written English; additional Indian languages are a plus
