Web3 Head of Finance

As a Head of Finance 

You will spearhead the financial strategy and operational performance of our leading Prop Trading company. This pivotal role encompasses the meticulous execution and oversight of all financial and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external standards. Your responsibilities will include leading financial and business planning, accounting and financial controls, reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. 

In addition, you will drive financial planning and analysis, manage financial risks, and champion growth initiatives to align with and support our business objectives. This position represents a unique opportunity to influence the financial direction of the company and play a critical role in transforming the financial industry through strategic leadership and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting and finance functions, including planning, budgeting, procurement, investments, and audit.
• Prepare year-end accounts and statutory accounts and ensure compliance with Singapore FRS and IFRS accounting standards.
• Assist in tax matters such as FATCA and CRS, as well as regulatory reporting.
• Design/streamline operational and accounting processes ensuring business efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to provide financial guidance, conduct information analysis, and offer recommendations.
• Conduct financial analysis on product and platform business models to provide insights for decision-making and identify risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in the field of financial management
• Extensive experience in financial reporting and group consolidation according to IFRS and GAAP for business 
• Extensive knowledge of transfer pricing, direct and indirect taxation, tax reporting and processes
• Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing business strategy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment
• Developing and implementing business models/processes in multi-site location
• Fluency in English is mandatory

• Strong analytical skills with initiative to resolve issues or pursue business opportunities as they are identified entrepreneurial initiative
• High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure
