About the Opportunity:
At your core, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. You must also have strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done. You will report directly to the HR Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide strategic partnership to stakeholders with regards to scaling, coaching, training, talent, diversity, and comp and bens.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Suggest new HR strategies
- Contribute to building out a world class people function including operations, process, best practice, and policies.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Partners with the legal department as needed/required - no prior experience necessary.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to enable the achievement of hiring goals.
- Assists with HR communications and training of managers on new programs, systems and processes as required.
- Proactive collaboration within the People Operations team and demonstrated ability to impact and influence leaders.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We Look For In You:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management in a clear and persuasive manner
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment, taking initiative, executing on projects independently and being resourceful
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- 3+ years experience as an HRBP
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in HR Operation, Total Rewards, or L&D
- Experience working with teams across offices and timezones.
- Fluent in Mandarin
