Being an Options Trader is not a 9-to-5 job, but a way of life. The (crypto) markets operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This requires a strong passion for trading, a deep interest in market developments, and a constant drive to make the best possible decisions. Together with the team, you continuously work to capitalize on market opportunities. It is a challenging and rewarding role that demands commitment and alertness at any time of day or night.

As an Options Trader, you have a strong competitive mindset and the ambition to constantly improve yourself. Along with the trading team, you are first and foremost responsible for our best-in-class options prices, risk management, PnL, and all daily trading operations. You spend most of your day monitoring markets and finding profitable signals. In this dynamic environment, you are committed to outperform competitors in terms of speed and quality of your prices. You thrive being continuously in the market and making thousands of split-second decisions under pressure every day. You can effectively explain your views to the team and stay open for feedback to maximize your own trading potential. You also work closely with the research and technology teams to further develop and improve models, pricing, volatility analysis, and trading tools.

Responsibilities

·       Actively price and trade options

·       Monitor and manage positions and risk exposures

·       Analyze market developments and news in relation to volatility and option pricing

·       Collaborate with other traders, quantitative and risk teams

·       Analyze trading performances and contribute to continuous strategy improvements

Who are you

·       You have a master’s degree in physics, mathematics, quantitative finance, econometrics, or equivalent

·       You have demonstrated a clear passion for the markets, (financial) news and (options) trading

·       Strong analytical and quantitative skills, natural precision and attention to details

·       Ability to perform under pressure and make decisions quickly

·       Ability to communicate effectively and take feedback on board

·       Experience with trading systems and data analysis (Python) is a plus
