Moosylvania is hiring a Senior Art Director to work with our national client campaigns to create highly functional and compelling interactive experiences. This designer will implement creative concepts and designs across multiple platforms, specifically targeted to appropriate users. Responsibilities include creating concepts and building prototypes for all advertising/marketing channels.

Here are a few more specifics on skills we’re interested in:
Art Direction
- Experience working with Luxury Spirits Portfolio preferred
- Creating design comps within Adobe Creative Suite, Comfortable working in a Mac based environment. Have a portfolio displaying solid skills in graphic design and typography. Be proficient in executing dimensional comps and mock-ups such as retail displays
- Begin to understand industry standards and expected final budgets when working with outside vendors, managing the output along the way with CD supervision. Work directly with your CDs supervision on sourcing: photographers, illustrators, 3D comp artists and other outside vendors, including getting estimates, pre-production communication, providing direction and feedback.
- Work well with direct collaboration with your CDs and Account team to check-in with them throughout all project process to receive feedback and critique regularly
- Be valued as a strong contributor to the team. Produce client-ready work, meaning that you can check yourself against the brief and take ownership and responsibility for your work. Team player with problem solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, remains current on industry trends and new technology

- Be the keeper of the visual identity for your team; have a command over the visual vocabulary for your brand. Have a complete understanding of your client’s brand logos, imagery, and fonts as well as all brand standards. Exhibit a full understanding of a brief and the communication hierarchy.
- Begin to be proactive in seeking broader opportunities for growth. Demonstrate a willingness to initiate and adopt new ideas. Continue to grow as an artist and engage in ongoing learning.
- Begin to establish working relationships with the client, your CDs and your Account Management team. Continue to hone presentation skills, present with the proper attitude and energy, and begin to articulate your creative decisions, as supported by strategy/direction from the brief. Have the ability to participate in and begin to learn to lead client meetings and/or photoshoots in-town and out-of-town with CD support.
Print Design
- Have an educated and growing understanding the production process and how to direct the production artist to ensure the desired result
- Provide feedback on proofs regarding retouching and color correction. Experience with print color proofing through on-site light boxes. On rare occasions, attend press checks to check color and alignment and approve for printing.
- Understand how to build comps quickly while also creating a library of shared assets that can be used across elements within a program.
Concepting
- Attend and actively participate in brainstorm sessions
- Be able to balance thinking big picture and maintaining attention to detail
- Be able to concept and visually express creative concepts without complete direct guidance
- Be able to build up basic ideas and take an idea to the next level
- Begin to look for opportunities outside of what you are asked to do - use your understanding of the business and your client’s brand to bring new opportunities to the team
- Use your understanding of popular culture to bring prizing, promotional and partnership ideas across key pillars such as: music, fashion, and entertainment.
- An interest in and empathy for a diverse range of cultural experiences beyond your own — and the role that cause based marketing plays within equity distribution for the product end users.
Mentorship
- Act as a mentor to junior art directors, following the lead and working directly in conjunction with senior members of the team. Show success in the mentoring as well as development of junior members of the team.
- Begin to be able to interview potential candidates and discern whether they would be an asset to Moosylvania.
Digital Design
- Experience designing with responsive design best practices in mind
- Knowledge of: UI/UX, HTML CSS and JAVASCRIPT a big plus
- Be interested in WEB3.0 technology including: NFTs, Blockchain Technologies, and Metaverse.
