Web3 Information Assurance and Privacy Lead

About the Role

As the Information Assurance and Privacy Lead, reporting to the Director of Information Security, you will lead the privacy accountability and information assurance programs to support Zero Hash’s vision and strategic priorities. You will implement a privacy compliance program in conjunction with legal and compliance teams to ensure that Zero Hash is operating within the law and provide guidance on privacy matters. You will also lead the implementation of an information assurance program to ensure we stay in compliance with market and voluntary compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determines enterprise information assurance and privacy standards;
• Develops and implements information assurance/privacy standards and procedures;
• Identifies, reports, and resolves security and privacy violations;
• Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands;
• Supports the development and implementation of standards and policies;
• Applies experience to user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features for system Architectures;
• Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures;
• Analyzes and defines security and privacy requirements for computer systems.
• Supports the Design, development, engineering, and implementation of solutions that meet security and privacy requirements;
• Provides integration and implementation support of the computer system security solutions;
• Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic support in solving these problems;
• Ensures that all information security systems are functional and secure.

Requirements

• Exceptional time management, facilitation, and organization skills
• General working knowledge of foundational requirements of privacy law (CRPA, GDPR, etc), industry and regulator privacy accountability best practices (NIST Privacy and UK ICO privacy accountability Frameworks)
• Experience performing security and/or privacy reviews of information systems.
• Experience performing security and/or privacy reviews of business processes.

Preferred (Optional)

• 5+ years Global privacy program management experience.
• IAPP – CIPM or CIPP certifications a plus.
• Experience supporting and guiding organizational change.
