Compensation: $81k - $100k estimated

- HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $40 – $60/hr

They are founded by an experienced team of entrepreneurs, community builders and product people - a team that has together built a company and exited to a global group. Now, they are boiling down everything they have learned in their previous journeys to revolutionize how creative individuals and businesses learn, collaborate and connect.
Note: Our client don't have a strict tech stack requirement. Candidates should be experienced in building tech stacks from scratch based on customer, user and business requirements.
About the Role
Our client is currently hiring a Lead engineer to work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business goals and ensure that the development team & technologies used are aligned with these.
Responsibilities
- Developing a technical roadmap to meet the existing and potential needs of customers, users and internal systems
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
- Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design
- Designing, building and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
- Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications
- Writing testable, scalable and efficient code and leading code reviews
- Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determining software quality standards
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages, evaluate and make recommendations as necessary
- Assist in task planning, scheduling and staffing
- Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting and hiring
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices
