The Department: Payments
The Payments Operations Team at Gemini are thought leaders in the digital asset payments operations space. Our mandate is to bridge the traditional world of finance with the innovation of cryptocurrency products, providing our clients with a best-in-class financial institution experience.
The Role: Manager, Payment Operations
The Manager, Payment Operations is responsible for the management, development, and implementation of Gemini’s payment operations globally.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the direction/management and development of a diverse, global payment operations team
- Drive continuous payments process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
- Manage customer payment reconciliation efforts
- Develop strategy that includes identifying new payment partners, assessing payment product enhancements, and recommended approaches eg. SWIFT, JPM RTP, Paypal
- Participate in next-generation new product integrations
- Collaborate with Gemini's Payment Product Managers, Engineering, and Corporate Treasury teams to assist in implementing products or features build to automate and expand Gemini's payment offerings to customers
Qualifications
- 5+ year's payment operations experience (Fintech, Similar)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of FedWire, ACH, SWIFT, FPS, CHAPS, and SEPA a plus
- strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function independently and effectively while working from home
- Organized with the ability to multi-task

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $137,000 - 192,000 in New York City, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
