Web3 Manager / Senior Accountant, Swan Mining

The Role

Swan Bitcoin is looking for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join our accounting and finance team. We’re looking for a Bitcoiner with 2-7 years of experience as an Accountant or Auditor. Thisposition will be reportingto the Controller. Title/level based on experience.

Your responsibilities

Assisting in all basic accounting functions including:

• Fixed assets
• Revenue
• Accounts payable
• Expense reimbursements
• General ledger management
• Account reconciliations
• Monthly close
• Prepare key controls
• Work with external auditors on the quarterly and annual financial audits and SOX compliance testing
• Lead/participate in special projects as needed
• General company administration duties

Skills and experience that will help you succeed

• Familiar with working in accounting systems (NetSuite, Ramp, Google Sheets / Docs, online banking, Excel etc.)
• Loves debits and credits
• Organizational skills and incredible attention to detail
• Works well independently
• Takes ownership of responsibilities
• Flexible with working hours
• Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
