The Company

The Lykke crypto exchange is part of the Lykke Ecosystem. It offers free trading. It is our goal to build a quality exchange with the narrowest spreads in the industry serving the needs of retail and institutional investors.

The exchange was launched in 2016 and is today the most cost efficient venue to trade the major cryptos. In the Lykke group we offer a wide range of products from identity management, financial markets, commerce, security infrastructure and more. These products and services can be integrated in the exchange to expand its offering. We want to leverage our products and services on a larger scale to increase the volume of our exchange and drive revenues.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Executive to lead the organization, to establish and execute our company's growth strategy.

Tasks

• Business development: Turning the existing organically grown organization into a sustainable business
• Identification of business strategy, through conducting an ongoing market analysis
• Responsibility for the consolidated budget with the goal to increase sustainable profitability and growth
• Developing industry partnerships & relationships
• Managing initial customer identification, acquisition and leading the customer relations
• Further improve internal processes and staffing strategies
• Preparation of quarterly reports for internal and external communication

Requirements

• Master, MBA or PhD in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• At least 10 years of work experience in an executive role in the financial industry
• Good understanding of the cryptocurrency / digital asset space (incl. legal implications)
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements specifically within European regulators (FCA, FINMA etc.)
• Demonstrated Business Development and entrepreneurship background
• Well established network in the finance and crypto environment (possibly in Switzerland)
• Valid track record with the sale of technology-solutions and -projects
• Sound negotiation skills on a senior management level with banks, regulators, and partners
• Excellent English
• High leadership and motivating skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think out of the box
