Web3 Mining Manager

BlockFi is looking for a Crypto Mining Manager to join our growing team!

About Your Team

We are a small team dedicated to the development and operation of Bitcoin mining facilities. We have significant overlap with the mining loan business, as they are synergistic.

Your Mission

• Support all aspects the self-mining effort at BlockFi.
• Be an in-house resource to the mining loan business.
• Develop and own financial model for economic evaluation of Bitcoin mining projects
• Understand mining rig characteristics and their effect on the economic return and operating performance.
• Monitor mining infrastructure construction progress and budgeting.
• Research the BTC mining ecosystem maintaining a database of statistics and developing predictions on future hashrate.
• Maintain and analyze mining performance historical data in conjunction with accounting department

Your Expertise

• Two or more years of experience in financial modeling
• Knowledge of the fundamentals Bitcoin mining
• Knowledge of computer chip manufacturing industry a plus.
• Some familiarity and aptitude with Crypto, particularly Bitcoin
• Undergraduate degree required.
