We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Mining Systems Technician to join our Firmware team. This role will serve as a critical link between our firmware development efforts and the integrity of miner data across all our mining sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in crypto mining operations, miner management platforms, pool configuration, and firmware operations. This in office position is a key role for maintaining accurate system data and ensuring smooth operation across our fleet of miners. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity across all miner-related systems and databases across multiple mining sites. 
• Maintain, audit, and correct discrepancies in operational data within miner management platforms. 
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure miner configuration and firmware information is accurate and consistently updated. 
• Support firmware deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting across the fleet. 
• Interface with miner management systems to ensure alignment with firmware status and operational parameters. 
• Monitor mining pool configurations and help troubleshoot pool connectivity or share submission issues. 
• Collaborate closely with the firmware development team to report field issues and assist with testing new firmware features. 
• Generate reports and logs detailing system health, miner status, and data consistency metrics. 
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cryptocurrency mining operations, with a focus on miner fleet management and firmware handling. 
• Deep familiarity with miner management systems, mining pools, and ASIC miner firmware. 
• Experience managing large-scale mining operations across multiple sites. 
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in identifying data anomalies and operational inconsistencies. 
• Working knowledge of networking and hardware fundamentals related to miner operation. 
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Comfortable working in high-uptime, production-critical environments. 

$26 - $28 an hour

This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. As such, candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
