Operations Manager (New York) - Crypto Hedge Fund - Strong base + bonus & equity stake

A major, recent global crypto hedge fund launch are looking to hire an Operations Manager for its expanding US team.

Reporting directly into the Global HOO (who is New York based), the new hire will run a broad hands-on operations / middle office remit alongside a small team of analysts, working in a flat structure.

Candidates should be enthusiastic about learning Python and SQL (skills that will be required for BAU work, but also for build out / automation projects as the fund develops).

This is a very well backed fund, that already has significant AUM - this is a long-term role with huge build out potential / career development and progression possibilities within the firm (and potentially across locations).

We are ideally looking to hire a 5yrs+ operations / middle office professional. Whilst a good depth of crypto operations experience is preferred, we are realistic and so any hedge fund operations professional that has touched on crypto (as part of their current investment operations remit) could also be considered. A passion / genuine interest in the crypto space is a pre-requisite.

To secure the most relevant hire, my client has committed to offering a strong increase on current base. You will also receive an attractive individual performance bonus on top of this. You will receive day one equity which a) will be hugely significant if the firm IPO's, b) stock grew by X3-X7 in the past year, so the equity piece should continue to be lucrative even pre-potential IPO (it can vest after 2yrs regardless).
