Web3 Paid Media Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced, creative and enthusiastic Paid Media Manager to drive both strategy and implementation of paid media and search campaigns to create awareness and adoption for our different brands and products. If you have an analytical mindset, like to pay attention to detail and are data-driven, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute both ongoing and ad hoc paid media and search campaigns, to create awareness and generate leads among developers and crypto enthusiasts
  • Create and manage paid media campaigns including display, paid social, native ads and PPC to generate awareness and drive traffic to our websites (polkadot.network, parity.io, substrate.io…) and third party platforms
  • Establish KPIs, run A/B tests, and analyse campaign performances
  • Collaborate with the web, design and content teams to optimise conversions
  • Produce reports on campaign effectiveness and create relevant follow-up tactics
  • Competitor analysis and benchmarking
  • Ensure campaigns are in compliance with Web 3.0 values, GDPR and industry regulations
  • Monitor industry trends and landscape and continually audit, test and improve the ongoing campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure join strategic marketing objectives align with paid ad activity
  • Document and standardize work processes

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as Paid Media Manager, Paid Search Manager, Paid Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Comfortable working in a privacy-focused and GDPR-compliant environment
  • Experience working with major ad platforms for search and display (Google Ads, Twitter Ads, Brave Ads…)
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication, people and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-minded and results-focused with experience in measuring impact
  • Experience in a fast-paced and growing tech startup environment
  • Strong organization and analytical skill with a keen eye on details
  • Team player and self starter who isn’t afraid to take initiative
  • Fluent in English

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with open source software
  • Experience in the blockchain/crypto industry
  • Experience in creating paid campaigns for a developer audience
