Web3 Paralegal

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

The paralegal will assist the Legal Counsel and wider Legal Department in a wide range of matters, including administrative tasks, contract and marketing material reviews, intellectual property, data protection, regulatory and other matters.

The role

  • Contract drafting, review, mark-ups and negotiation
  • Project management, assisting on compliance matters and licensing applications
  • Business-wide legal communications
  • Drafting of policies and guidelines
  • Providing legal support to accelerate product and/or regional expansion
  • Developing and delivery of training initiatives
  • Legal research
  • Assisting on Data Protection/GDPR matters
  • Leading the maintenance of the trademark portfolio
  • Review and drafting of terms and conditions
  • Assisting on customer queries
  • Review and mark-up of marketing materials
  • Internal and corporate administration
  • Implementing and overseeing best practices in contract management and execution
  • Assisting with deployment of LegalTech solutions and identifying areas of improvement

Requirements

  • IT skills – experience with Microsoft Word is essential. Experience with Microsoft Excel would also be beneficial
  • Familiarity with basic corporate administration matters – e.g. Board minutes, resolutions, share documents, Companies House filings
  • Experience with legal drafting
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Team player
  • Takes initiative and ownership of matters
  • Sets high personal standards
  • Law Degree (LLB or equivalent)
  • 1+ years of paralegal experience
  • Financial regulation knowledge
  • Commercial awareness
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Crypto experience preferred
  • In-house experience strongly preferred
  • The ideal candidate would have completed the LPC
