Web3 Partner Ecosystem Lead (m/w/d)

We’re looking for a proven partnership or business development executive with a background in identifying and cultivating strategic relationships with technology partners and enterprises. We’re looking for someone with strong business acumen, entrepreneurial drive and dealmaking skills. The role focuses on fostering and growing the peaq partner ecosystem consisting of startups, enterprise partners and Web3 partners.

Tasks

Things you will do

  • Identifying and cultivating strategic relationships with current and potential technology partners and large enterprises;
  • Developing and acting on collaboration plans for key partners, and developing product adoption plan;
  • Leading and developing differentiated relationships between peaq and our technology partners' teams including partner executive leaders, product managers, engineering, sales and marketing;
  • Acting as a liaison between internal teams at peaq and strategic partners to communicate about feature requests, product roadmap, and how the alliance influences timing and direction;
  • Speaking regularly in public as the voice for peaq;
  • Working closely with startups and engaging them in the peaq ecosystem;
  • Engaging and closing enterprise-level partnerships;
  • Working on peaq’s market adoption strategy;
  • Building senior relationships and leveraging your existing network for the benefit of the company and your team, being the face and the voice of peaq within various business forums;
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify partner opportunities.

Requirements

What you bring to the table

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role in partnerships or business development at tech companies;
  • A track record in building long-term strategic relationships, preferably involving open-source software;
  • Strong knowledge of the Internet of Things ecosystem like the back of your hand and have a good overview of the Web3 ecosystem;
  • Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial drive, as well as dealmaking skills;
  • A strong global network;
  • Experienced in executive engagement;
  • Hands-on mentality, as well as creative problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder and project management skills;
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills;
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Comfortable with code, and enjoy talking with developers and engineering directors alike;
  • Passion for the Web3/ Blockchain/ Crypto space.
