Web3 People & Culture Coordinator

We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to support our people operations team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong curiosity in detail, and has an ability to visualize solutions and keep confidentiality. You will work with a team of dynamic and vibrant professionals located in the Tokyo office. Note: candidates must be in Japan or already have the right to work in Japan. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Core Responsibilities include:

• Support to develop and implement our human resource plan
• Support the conduct of our employees and shape organizational design
• Lead performance review processes, promotion system and succession planning
• Lead skill assessment and development programs
• Maintain records of personnel-related data accurately
• Lead corporate culture and team building activities
• Policy enhancement
• Lead employment branding initiatives
• Assist in employee retention and development

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently
• Undergraduate degree and 2+ years of equivalent work experience as a HR generalist, Recruiter or HR operator
• Understand and follow procedure but be prepared to challenge and suggest improvements where necessary
• High level of collaboration with locally based teams, and our colleagues overseas
• Proficiency in using advanced formulas of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Japanese labor regulations
• Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast paced multicultural environment (our team is spread between Japan, Singapore and Vietnam)

Nice to have (not essential but beneficial)

• Understanding of tools such as Confluence and Jira
• Experience working with GreenHouse and BambooHR

Language:

• English - business level (spoken and written)
• Japanese - native level (spoken and written)
