About this role
This role will support the growth of Corporate Innovation in China by formulating and building strategic ecosystem partnerships (corporations, technology parks, government, media agencies, associations, and the start-up community) to strengthen our brand and program offering across our current and emerging investment verticals.
Ecosystem & Venture Building Program Lead
- Collaborate with program and strategy teams to develop the curriculum and schedule for ecosystem / venture building programs
- Review startup applications received for the program and drive the selection based on fit for program
- Lead deep dive sessions with selected startups to understand key areas of support to be tackled during the program and the types of customers/partners they are looking to connect with in Mainland China
- Develop Brinc's network of food corporations, hospitality groups, grocery stores, and other potential buyers of alternative protein products in Mainland China
- Introduce participating startups with relevant customers/partners
- Represent Brinc and participating startups at key food events / F&B conferences
- Organize and host events such as taste tests and product showcases to promote the participating startups
- Work alongside Brinc partners and ensure that they are delivering the agreed upon scope of work for each startup according to schedule
- Track KPIs and metrics for the program
Requirements
- Energetic self-starter with minimum 5 years’ working experience in innovation or startup/ecosystem partnership or business development
- University degree qualifications in Information Technology, Business or related area
- An agile and strategic thinker who can navigate complex organizational structures to develop key relationships
- Proven experience in managing digital innovation, partnerships and vendor relationships
- Ecosystem knowledge and connectivity including incubators, accelerators, VCs and startups
- Solid experience in initiating large scale programme/projects, from concepts to delivery and drive for results
- Solid experience in managing physical, hybrid and virtual events ideally from sizable organization/public bodies and preferably from technology sector
- Outstanding project management skills; highly organized and detailed oriented with ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Proven experienced people leader who can demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate people at all levels
- High ability to influence without authority throughout the organisation
- Experience working in a matrix organization/team
- Strong and impactful presentation, communication and facilitation skills
- Good command of both Putonghua and English (spoken and written)
