Web3 Protocol Engineer: Lightning

As a Blockstream Lightning Protocol Engineer, you will work in the open with many different individuals and companies to refine and enhance the lightning network specifications (BOLTs) as well as implement and polish our own c-lightning implementation. You will work closely with the other engineers and researchers inside Blockstream as well, connecting c-lightning with other projects across the entire ecosystem

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

• You will join with our Lightning engineers and those from other implementations to create and implement the current and future Lightning specification

What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications):

• Excellent communication, team player attitude and collaboration skills
• Experience with wire protocols and specifications

Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

• Familiarity with Lightning and Bitcoin at a protocol level
• Familiarity contributing to open source projects
