We're looking for a specialized full-stack engineer with a deep understanding of blockchain technologies and smart contract platforms.
Responsibilities
- Enable the creation of smart contracts through abstractions, orchestrations, and integrations in the projects they will be supporting.
- Develop and manage plugins.
- Lead the R&D for blockchain implementations.
- Ensure compatibility and integration with other blockchain projects.
- Contribute to and curate the Marketplace implementations of the assigned projects.
Basic Requirements
- Strong programming skills (Go or equivalent general purpose programming.)
- Proficient in distributed systems, handling backend services, including experience with concurrent users and large-scale applications.
- Ability to manage open-source projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, blending the ability to drive contributions and work across various teams.
- Good understanding of infrastructure concepts and experience in working with infrastructure-related projects, capable of engaging in technical discussions and contributing to infrastructure decisions.
Nice-To-Haves
- Demonstrable experience in blockchain technology and smart contracts, especially with a focus on the Cosmos ecosystem, including proficiency in Cosmos SDK, IBC, and Tendermint (or equivalent technologies.)
- Experience in leading community-driven blockchain projects.
- Contributions to the Cosmos ecosystem or similar blockchain communities.
- Proficient knowledge of cryptographic principles and transaction types.
- Experience with smart contract languages and comfortable with smart contract services.
$200,000 - $245,000 a year
