OUR VISION

In the new and exciting world of the decentralized internet, otherwise known as Web3, it is an individual’s fundamental right to own and control their digital identity. To ensure that the individual is paramount in Web3, we are developing products and infrastructure to enable everyone to safely engage, take part, and transact in the emerging, decentralized world of the internet. Our platform centers on Web3 Identity and leverages that identity to provide individuals with secure digital asset storage and recovery, the ability to prove ownership of their creations, and gateways to digital interactions and experiences – all to empower and benefit every Web3 user.

We believe that the decentralized nature of Web3 creates an opportunity for everyone to challenge the digital status quo—to own and control their identity, data, finances, creations, and future. This is the chance to get it right – to rally a movement of individuals so Web3 belongs to everyone, not to trillion-dollar companies. To fulfill this vision, we are seeking dynamic people who want to join us in leading the way to this new world.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the execution of Blockchains’ product ecosystem. You will report to the SVP, Business Strategy, and work closely with stakeholders across the Company, including the Strategy, Product, IT/Cyber, Technology, GRC, and Legal teams to ensure all systems are architected in a way that aligns with business requirements and Company policies. You will frequently contribute to critical business initiatives, regularly inform stakeholders of progress and risks, and navigate between short-term and long-term compromises in existing and planned software designs. A key component of this role is ensuring that all of our applications currently under development work together seamlessly. Other important functions include:

  • Leading and executing the Company’s enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap.
  • Developing reference architecture to set technical standards for the product ecosystem.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify long-term scaling and growth plans, and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Working alongside the Sr. Director, Technology to provide guidance and mentorship to third-party development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Designing solutions and application architectures for multiple interconnected software systems.
  • Testing, evaluating, and recommending technology stacks, Blockchain networks, tools, and platforms, including alternative approaches.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the implementation of software architectures with third-party developers.
  • Advising on smaller feature architectures, as needed.
  • Documenting, maintaining, and socializing architectural designs and solutions to execution level.
  • Ensuring all solutions and architectures align with Company policies, industry standards, and regulations, such as CCPA and GDPR.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You have experience crafting coherent architectures for emerging technologies, including Web3, Blockchain, and AI/ML. You have a proven track record of delivering successful architectures to solve complex problems for product ecosystems and picking the most practical technical stack for solutions needed. You are a doer and thrive in fast-paced startup environments. You are an effective communicator and a collaborative leader. Zero to one experience taking products to market from ideation to delivery is required.

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or any STEM related major, or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of 8 years of Architecture experience, with demonstrable blockchain experience is required.
