Web3 Senior Finance Associate

Compensation: $90k - $118k estimated

The Role:

As a Senior Finance Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and A/P teams, for tracking financial and regulatory filings, and for supervising advisor engagements. You will work cross-functionally with departments for budget planning and reviews, and you will own and manage relationships with service providers supporting key business functions. If you are a highly organized problem solver who is able to balance essential daily operations with high-impact special projects, this role will be a good fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AP, operational accounting, and related processes

  • Maintain budgets and lead monthly reviews

  • Drive financial and regulatory filing initiatives (state and federal)

  • Supervise relationships with key service providers

  • Project manage advisor and vendor engagements

  • Work cross-functionally on critical operational projects

  • Improve and automate finance and ops processes

  • Lead finance and treasury reconciliations

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of finance experience in assurance, consulting, fintech or crypto

  • CPA and/or Public Accounting experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations

  • Ability to plan for accounting and tax implications of future operations and provide recommendations

  • Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems in ambiguous situations or with imperfect information

  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good attitude

  • Ability to work independently and on a team, asynchronously

  • Proficient with ERP software, preferably NetSuite

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and working with large data sets

  • Financial modeling experience a plus

  • SQL experience a plus
