Web3 Senior Network Engineer

The IT team is integral to the success of the business, supporting our systems and their colleagues at MoonPay. We strive to simplify technology and bridge the gap between employees and their day-to-day tools. We’re looking for someone that is comfortable working as part of our growing distributed team and who enjoys working to get to a resolution and improve upon our existing processes and systems. To be successful, you’ll possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Outside of core duties they will work on operational and technical projects aimed at innovation and simplification.

What you’ll do 👀

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of MoonPay networking infrastructure for both physical office locations and for company-wide secure remote access systems.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of all MoonPay network infrastructure
• Management of local ISP’s within varying global regions
• Serve as escalation point for all networking related issues
• Troubleshooting, documenting, and auditing of networking infrastructure and services
• Participate in on-call rota
• Management of physical security appliances (CCTV / Access Control (badge access) / Intercom)

• You have good communication skills and like to pay attention to detail.
• Bachelor degree or above, majoring in network communication, computer or other related majors, with more than 3 years of network operation work experience.
• Familiar with Palo Alto, Cisco, and other manufacturers of network and security equipment for configuration, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DHCP, IPSec VPN, DNS, SD-WAN and other networking technologies.
• In-depth experience in network troubleshooting and resolution, good at analyzing and solving network related issues.
• Familiar with macOS to work with partner teams for deployment of any desktop clients/configurations.
• You are comfortable working on mechanic or manual tasks, with a mind for automating said tasks.
• You have confidence and comfort with asking questions to get to a resolution, whether internally to colleagues, management, or to vendors.
• You have a user-focus mindset, with a desire to provide excellent customer service.
• You have a natural desire to simplify processes through the means of structure, documentation, and communication.
• You have a positive, team-oriented mindset, with a natural willingness to always go the extra mile.
