You will bring a fresh approach to the planning and implementation of our people strategy here at Wirex.This exciting Senior HR Administrator role will require you to wear a number of ‘hats’ covering a range of responsibilities which ensure the smooth running of a busy HR department and the back-office services that underpin the UK Head Office and associated USA and APAC regions. These responsibilities cover HR, Administration and IT co-ordination. The role requires a HR generalist, who will have both administrative and office services responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, such as human resources policies and procedures, office management, staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits (payroll admin). Key responsibilities of theSenior People Administrator role:
The Senior People Administrator will be the first point of contact for employee-related queries. The role holder will assist and report to the Chief People Officer (CPO) with a wide range of initiatives such as performance, employee retention, diversity and wellbeing whilst working alongside the Senior Talent Partner for talent acquisition and onboarding tasks. The role will require you to wear multiple HR hats and will be a split between HR and general office duties
- Offer support and advice to managers and employees on people-related matters
- Coach managers on people processes and policy. Act in a confidential advisory capacity as needed
- Manage mid-employee and offboarding admin independently including HR Inductions, probation confirmations/extensions, promotions, exit interviews
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to review onboarding process and continually iterate to find improvements
- Collaborate with the wider People team and Kyiv team to align and streamline processes/communication
- Take ownership of key engagement initiatives such as Stay Interviews; Company Updates and Wirex Newsletter
- Work closely with the CPO on performance management tasks such as quarterly performance review/OKR cycles and guide managers and employees through the process
- Collaborate with the finance team to update payroll and benefits globally
- Handle lower-level ER cases with the support of the CPO
- Manage and update Wirex HRISs such as BambooHR; Lattice and Master Tracking Form
- Create and improve general induction training available for employees and identify development needs
- Act as an internal employee champion and external Employer Brand ambassador using internal communication networks as well as external platforms and social media
- Regularly review and update policy and culture books
- Lead Wirex's Social, Charity and Green committees
- Office management duties such as the review and procurement of stationary, office equipment and IT equipment
Skills and experience required:
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
- Generalist HR experience within an HR environment would be highly advantageous (previous demonstrable experience of working at Admin level or similar)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop relationships across the business, building partnerships with people and teams to become the first point of contact in the People Team
- Results focused with a real drive to achieve
- CIPD qualified or part qualified (preferred)
- Practically minded; able to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in
- Happy to work in the office as and when required for office related tasks to include employee onboarding and offboarding, and more general office related matters
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience of managing a busy office / administration role
- Knowledge of HR laws and procedures would be highly advantageous
- High ethical and professional standards
- Able to keep highest levels of confidentiality
