Senior React/Web3 Developer

General Description

ApeSwap is seeking an experienced frontend developer to serve as a major contributor to our fast-paced, innovative development team. As a burgeoning DAO, ApeSwap is a unique organization, looking for unique individuals who want to impact the world by building the future of finance.

Skills & Requirements

Must Have

• 3+ years in frontend development experience, preferably in React (but open to considering deep expertise in other frameworks like Vue and/or Angular)
• Comfortable with Typescript
• Clean coding practices and experience with test driven design
• Familiarity with Storybook & component driven design

Preferred

• Experience and aptitude with web3 development
• Interest and experience in the DeFi landscape, particularly on EVM compatible chains such as BSC and Polygon
• Autonomous with the ability to work in a flat organization & DAO-like environment

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering crucial frontend features by coordinating with the broader product team
• Implement designs for features as per specifications from Figma mockups
• Enhancing existing implementations and frontend repositories to clean up and optimize ApeSwap’s DEX, yield farm, and other service offerings
• Reviewing frontend code implemented by other members of the technical team
• Providing guidance and support to more junior frontend developers

Compensation

• Competitive, experience-based salary. Paid in ApeSwap’s proprietary currency, BANANA tokens. (Compensation can be flexible based on currency type dependent on need)
• Up to $3,000 stipend for necessary new work device and/or equipment
• 3 Month Milestone - $20,000 worth of BANANA as a bonus, to be immediately converted into GNANA tokens for adequate skin in the game & ApeSwap DAO voting rights
