Web3 Software Architect (NodeJS)

Job Description & Responsibilities:  Pinata is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Architect to join our growing team. As the Software Architect, you will have the opportunity to make high-level decisions that influence the company’s product from ideation through execution. You’ll help guide our developers and engineers on the team with your architectural approach and strategy for software development. Working closely with the CTO/cofounder and entire Engineering organization, this position will play a pivotal role in the trajectory of Pinata’s engineering efforts.

Your responsibilities will include: Own, advance, and communicate the architectural direction for Pinata’s technology platform. Lead the holistic design and implementation of key projects and initiatives. Write reusable, testable, idiomatic, principled code Champion and encourage proper team coding patterns Write technical documentation

Job Requirements: Strong technical expertise in modern development frameworks, toolsets, and development methodologies The ability to document architectural decisions & patterns for later team consumption Extensive experience working with Node.js At least 3 years experience working with SQL databases like PostgreSQL. Extensive experience with test-driven development Extensive experience with Docker, Cloudflare, AWS, and other cloud technologies Bonus: knowledge of IPFS or other web3 technologies
