Web3 Software Engineer - Mobile Development

What You’ll Do

• Implement new user-facing features for Cake’s mobile app using TypeScript and React Native
• Design and develop scalable, high-quality code structures, according to the needs of business and products
• Help architect new features
• Write highly testable and highly maintainable code
• Work closely with team members on product, design, research, and development
• Contribute towards a healthy software engineering culture through code reviews, and knowledge sharing

What You’ll Need

• Experience with software development in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Knowledge of React Native (or React JS)
• Experience using Figma or similar design tools from a developer perspective
• Passionate UI & UX
• Expert in software engineering best practices and having the ability to write clean and easy to understand code
• Passionate about creating a fantastic user experience
• Understanding of how to optimize code for fast rendering and mobile applications
• Ability to write testable and maintainable code
• Ability to write unit tests with Mocha, Jest or similar tools
• Ability to write and maintain end to end tests in JS/TS (Cypress, selenium)
