Web3 Sr. Billings & Collections Specialist (FTC)

This role is a 7-month FTC maternity coverage. 

What you’ll do 

As the Billings & Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable balances from customers and all other aspects of billing and collections, including issuing invoices, resolving customer billing issues and reducing accounts receivable delinquencies.

Responsibilities 

• Monitor customer accounts for delinquencies and engage with customers and Sales to resolve payment issues
• Ensure timely adherence to escalation procedures for past due accounts
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing processes
• Analyze delinquent accounts and provide regular feedback on root issues
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues, review and process account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies
• Reduce delinquent accounts and monitor collections blockers
• Creating and issuing invoices, processing and applying payments, creating and understanding reports, and performing reconciliations on customer accounts

Minimum Requirements 

• 3-5 years of experience as a Billings & Collections Specialist
• Have a strong knowledge of billing and collections procedures
• Experience working in NetSuite, Salesforce, and/or other cloud-based ERP/CRM systems
• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

For employees hired to work remotely from California, or from our HQ, Fireblocks is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is specific to California and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, and other business needs.

It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $68,000 - $85,000. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, a very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits.
