WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are hiring a Sr Research Associate, Crypto who can lead sell-side research that targets large exchanges and asset managers seeking insights on asset prices.

The ideal candidate has experience leading sell-side research at a leading bank, can establish a data-backed point of view, and gain the credibility of exchanges, institutions, and other financial entities.

You will join an exciting, newly formed, crypto team that deeply cares about growing with people who question assumptions, have strong judgement, execute fast, take ownership, act responsibly, help the team advance and improve its standards.

Responsibilities

You will set the direction of the team and the content plan and will manage researchers and data scientists as the team grows. You will present insights and findings to internal and external audiences, as well as host events, webinars, conferences, etc. You will also evaluate blockchain-level analysis produced by your team, helping Cross River establish its market-leading position.

Minimum qualifications

• Experience leading quantitative institutional sell-side research
• Experience leading research plan and execution
• Experience presenting findings via content (articles, whitepapers, etc) or live (meetings, presentations, conferences, webinars)

Bonus

• Knowledge of self-service analytics or coding tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, SQL, R, Python)
• Previous experience managing a research team
• Understanding of crypto as an asset and its use cases beyond trading
