Web3 Staff Accountant

About the Team:

The finance team manages our global financial activities, including strategic, operational, and treasury finance. We are a growing cross-functional team that partners with stakeholders to develop & drive detailed financial analyses, capital strategies, and resource allocation initiatives to support our short- and long-term goals.

About the Opportunity:

• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes
• Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits
• Implement and manage systems and processes allowing the company to scale its finance functions
• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results

About You:

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, preferred
• Fluency in English
• Capable of implementing and scaling operational systems and process implementation
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy and delivering against deadlines
• Experience with Enterprise ERP systems
• Experience with DATEV
• Experience working with purchase accounting; manufacturing/cost accounting highly preferred
• Experience or knowledge of cryptocurrencies is a plus
