RECUR is seeking a VP of Gaming to join its team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, where you will build immersive game experiences for some of the largest brands in the world through innovative, creative projects in the rapidly scaling NFT space.
What you will do at RECUR
- Lead RECUR’s Gaming team, serving as the leader across systems design, liveops management, and supporting gaming functions to deliver best in class NFT experiences across verticals in RECUR’s growing brand portfolio
- Enhance and execute RECUR’s gaming roadmap to build the most engaging and exciting NFT game mechanics in the world
- Collaborate cross-functionally with RECUR’s Art, Engineering, Brand, Product, and Community teams to ship industry leading NFT experiences for the largest IP in the world
- Own & scale the RECUR Gaming team to support a growing portfolio of global IP experiences
- Set priorities and deadlines for the Gaming team to ensure timely shipment of new feature sets driving acquisition, engagement, and retention across the RECUR portfolio
- Partner with RECUR’s Ops & Strategy team to set Gaming milestones and performance manage the Gaming team, where you will measure and achieve those milestones to maximize user growth and engagement
- Identify opportunities to improve the Gaming team and implement plans to drive process improvements
- Serve as a leader to the Gaming team and a partner to other RECUR leaders
What you bring to RECUR
- 10+ years of video game industry experience focused on game design across multiple platforms and genres; mobile gaming and liveops experience a plus
- Proficiency with industry-standard product tools and software
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with RECUR’s leadership team and department leads to ensure feature development is consistent with RECUR’s overarching business goals
- Ability to effectively elicit feedback from management team and quickly integrate it into the Gaming team strategy
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members from a diverse set of industry backgrounds
- Consistent track record of success meeting deadlines and delivering gaming product features
