About the Role

We’re looking for a Treasury Trader to join our team and help power the day-to-day trading and liquidity operations behind Quidax’s exchange. You’ll play a mission-critical role in driving trade execution, managing market operations, and supporting our treasury function—all to ensure seamless customer experiences.

What you’ll be Owning

Ensure Trade Execution & Market Efficiency

• Guarantee 99.9% uptime and seamless execution of all customer-related trades.

• Monitor and optimize order book processes to prevent failed or delayed trades.

• Track and report on all market orders and liquidity levels in real time.

• Keep a daily trading blotter, including trade positions and P&L summaries.

Support Strategic Treasury Functions

• Collaborate with Treasury and Portfolio Managers for real-time market discovery.

• Provide pricing intelligence and trend analysis for rate decisions.

• Support liquidity management across markets, currencies, and pairs.

• Help balance supply/demand across fiat and crypto assets.

Power Data-Driven Trading Decisions

• Work closely with data teams to surface actionable insights.

• Build reporting tools and dashboards to support the trading desk.

• Generate real-time alerts and performance metrics for the Market Ops team.

Biggest Challenges You’ll Tackle

★ Preventing trade failures in a high-speed, high-volume trading environment
★ Balancing liquidity across volatile markets and multiple currencies
★ Delivering pricing efficiency while minimizing slippage and trade latency
★ Ensuring operational control and reporting accuracy in a dynamic crypto space

What We’re Looking For

✅ You have 3+ years of Treasury experience in a financial institution, trading firm, or fintech startup.
✅ You hold a CFA, ACI, or other trading/treasury certification.
✅ You have a strong grasp of blockchain technology and digital asset markets.
✅ You understand order book mechanics, price discovery, and market-making.
✅ You’re familiar with crypto, FX, or traditional markets and liquidity operations.
✅ You’re highly analytical, thrive under pressure, and move with urgency.

These Are Nice to Have, So Not Deal Breakers

• You’ve traded crypto actively (professionally or personally).

• You have advanced Excel or scripting skills (Python, SQL).

• You’ve worked on trading desks or with pricing engines.

• You have experience working across multiple asset classes.
