Web3 Vice President, Global Payments

• At Ripple, we provide one frictionless experience to send money globally using the power of blockchain. By joining Ripple’s growing global network, financial institutions can process their customers’ payments anywhere in the world instantly, reliably and cost-effectively. Payment providers, fintechs, crypto companies and banks can use XRP to further reduce their costs and access new markets.
• We’re looking for an experienced crypto executive to lead our payment business that is doubling yearly transaction volume and at a $10B annualized run-rate.
• This role will based out of Ripple’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco (Montgomery Street in the Financial District) and report into the General Manager, RippleNet - Asheesh Birla

Key Responsibilities:

• Deeply understand where the payments market is headed to ensure our products are addressing underserved needs and pain points
• Delight customers with an incredible user experience for moving money by rethinking the payments experience from the ground up
• Solve liquidity problems using digital assets such as XRP to reduce the friction in moving money globally
• Lead, coach and mentor an extremely talented group of Product Managers, Product Marketers and Business Development team members

Requirements

• 15+ years of overall experience (at least 7+ as a product manager) with top Internet, e-commerce and enterprise software.
• Reputation for evangelizing and launching awesome products from zero to 1.0
• Familiarity in developing crypto protocols for mass marketing adoption
• Blockchain/Crypto experience is not required, but a passion for it is, plus knowledge of Ripple, its ecosystem and where the market is headed
• Experience partnering with engineering and design teams to define, build and maintain products that are critical to growth, engagement and retention
• Experience successfully working with enterprise sales, marketing and business development organizations
• Motivated by intellectual challenges and a competitive drive to win in the market
