Adaverse is a Cardano Ecosystem Accelerator that aggregates entrepreneurs, strategists and mentors, building its most robust foundation in Africa and Asia. It's a collaborative initiative between EMURGO and Everest Ventures Group that supports blockchain founders with funds, mentorship and tech infrastructure to scale Web3 solutions across the globe.

The Role

Adaverse is seeking to recruit a full-time Accelerator Associate to join the firm’s Program team. The successful candidate will work closely with General Partners and Investment Managers, meeting entrepreneurs, assisting with strategic decision-making and white paper development, and helping craft the accelerator program to optimise impact for participants. You should be passionate about crypto and work to build a network of the space's best entrepreneurs, engineers, and subject matter experts.

The primary goal of the program team is to develop and enhance the product and operational maturity of startups participating in the accelerator.

This role will primarily focus on developing web3 / crypto startups. A successful candidate should have a deep, first principles understanding of how these startups and protocols work and believe in their importance for the future of the internet.

Responsibilities include:

Program development support

Help with the organisation of the accelerator program, including bi-weekly check-ins with entrepreneurs and mentor-matching.

White paper design and development

Work closely with entrepreneurs to create professional, articulate, and effective white papers ready for publication at the end of the program (to be used as part of their token raise).

Maintain industry awareness

Develop a network of sources of information to ensure an up-to-date understanding of the crypto industry. This includes growing a network of subject matter experts. This also includes interacting with non-crypto companies to understand their strategy and the opportunities and challenges that present to startups in the space.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of crypto-specific experience and contribution, either in a professional or personal context
• 2+ years of technical product development and or management
• Demonstrated experience in the development of crypto white papers
• 2+ years of crypto-specific experience in a professional investing context
• Demonstrated experience in the development of projects on the Cardano blockchain
• Genuine intellectual curiosity, the ability to learn new facts and concepts quickly and comprehensively, then explain those facts & concepts to other people succinctly
• Ability to synthesise complex information, form a sharp point of view, and communicate it in a relevant way to different audiences
• Effective communications skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to juggle multiple items and work on tight deadlines
• Desire and proven ability to learn new domains and technologies quickly
• Energetic, positive attitude
• Deeply optimistic conviction about the future of crypto and the Internet
