Recruiting Tips
They are looking for someone founding engineer level - ideally someone from the Hyperliquid ecosystem - this could be the smart young hacker type profile, won a load of hackathons etc.
They are flexible on location but, they will be expected to work in person 2 weeks a quarter in NY or Singapore.
There is a good amount of equity as part of the package as well.
Description
The Opportunity
- Lead technical development of our on-chain Hyperliquid prime brokerage platform. Own architecture, product, and early team. Meaningful equity, immediate impact.
- What You'll Deliver
- Core smart contracts: Ship and audit HyperEVM contracts
- Low-latency trading systems: High-performance order execution infrastructure
- Risk infrastructure: Liquidation engine and position management systems
- Early engineering & product culture: architecture, code quality, hiring
Required Skills and Experience
You Are
- Crypto-native builder with production Solidity/EVM experience
- Familiar with DeFi primitives, gas optimization, and CLOB mechanics
- Strong in Rust with experience building high-performance trading systems
- Mission-driven with founder mentality: ships fast, owns outcomes
Nice-to-Haves
- Quantitative trading or systematic strategies background
- Low-latency infrastructure or HFT experience; Prior DeFi protocol work
- Working Model
- Co-location blocks in NYC and Singapore; flexible for exceptional talent.
