Gaming will be one of the first industries to mass adopt blockchain technology, and it is coming to Blockchain.com. We are looking for an experienced and passionate partnerships lead to accelerate our gaming efforts and be at the cutting edge of this industry restructuring. This person will have a direct hand in shaping our gaming strategy by working with game studios, developers, publishers, and platforms. The gaming partnerships lead will build programs that are scalable, design incentives that are long term, and bring high impact partners to Blockchain.com. As a key member of the Partnerships team, this person will be driving one of the most exciting new products on Blockchain.com.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support Blockchain.com’s gaming strategy by forging strong relationships across various constituents in the space, including studios, creators, entrepreneurs, crypto projects, brands, and traditional content players
• Secure key partnerships with major gaming brands as Blockchain.com establishes a new gaming division focused on helping developers design unique gaming experiences supported by effortless blockchain integration to create player-first games and true digital asset ownership
• Identify partnerships with projects, tools, and platforms to create best-in-class product experience for our users and create open economy games on the blockchain
• Focus our partners on games dedicated to player experience, the transactions of digital items, and the back-end infrastructure of games themselves
• Source deals from leading gaming studios, major blockchain protocols as well as up and coming projects within the blockchain gaming community
• Work with marketing and product teams to create campaigns that build awareness and drive demand for launching on Blockchain.com
• Engage and connect with gaming community at large to provide thought-leadership, industry insights, and ensure Blockchain.com’s role in the community
• Streamline deal process for sourcing and structuring deals, and operationalize process by creating materials and collateral to differentiate Blockchain.com’s offering
• Build systems and methods to track and measure success of gaming partnerships
  
  

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Strong understanding of gaming ecosystem and passion for the space
• 8+ years BD or partnerships experience with 3+ years experience in gaming
• A proven track record of leading and closing impactful partnerships in a product-centric environment with significant internal and external dependencies
• Experience negotiating commercial deals with organizations of all sizes
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with partners and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds
• Highly organized, analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
