Description
We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst in the field of Threat Finance to work on targets for a client in the US Intelligence Community. On the project, the Analyst will have the opportunity to apply their financial expertise while gaining experience in the use of threat finance methods and applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an intellectually curious, energetic specialist to work on a project with real impact helping support delivery of our client's mission.
Key Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct all-Source intelligence research, analysis, report writing, and report editing
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Project planning to include: operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of the operation
- Preparation and presentation of written and oral to all levels of customer management
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Skills/Abilities
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- U.S. Citizenship
- Requires an active TS/SCI w/ Poly
- Experience with financial subject matters, such as accounting, illicit finance activity, block chain, cryptocurrency, white collar crime, etc.
- Ability to simultaneously manipulate multiple sets of data to derive inputs for targeting packages
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage status reporting and scheduling
- Familiarity with the customer's report writing standards
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government
- High degree of personal integrity
- Familiarity with various Intelligence Community partners and their operations
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is required or 6 years additional years of relevant operational experience for this position
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant operational experience within the sponsor's organization or other relevant organization(s) in the Intelligence Community
- Experience with one of the following: commercial or government accounting standards, electronic currency, crypto currency, blockchain, international financial policy, or certified public accountant
Desired Skills/Abilities
- Relevant customer certifications
- Familiarity with various Intelligence Community partners and their operations
- Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government
- Familiarity with Advanced Excel and using pivot tables
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus!
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
- Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
