Top crypto/digital asset trading firm is looking to hire a hands on Trading Assistant to work within the company’s institutional trading team. This is a remote position, with the ideal candidate being based in the EST time zone.

The role will involve working closely with the trading desk to maintain and develop trading models and support an established trading business that is continuing to grow in scale and user base. In this role, you will also work with the co-heads of the OTC desk to build cutting-edge infrastructure that will directly impact the trading PnL.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain trading models across a wide spectrum of different cryptocurrencies
• Enhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunities
• Carry out post-trade analysis utilizing Python
• Learn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems that support an established trading business

What we’re looking for:

• 2-4 years of experience on a trading desk (big bank, prop shop or hedge funds all of interest)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modelling
• A Bachelors degree in a technical background (math, stats, engineering)
• Possess a strong work ethic and be able to learn quickly in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
• Detail oriented and organized
• Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure
• Strong interest in trading and financial markets, crypto included

Compensation is competitive and contingent on experience. This would include stock options in the company and unlimited PTO. No visa sponsorship.
